    In 1985, Barry established his own home design company and went on to become one of the world's leading designers.

    Like Barbara Barry herself, her designs are synonymous with simplicity, atmosphere, subtlety, and elegance, and although not visually "chic," they always leave a feeling of comfort and beauty.

    Inspired by nature, Barry's designs are full of peaceful and leisurely home atmosphere, taking simplicity, plainness and elegance as the brand's design concept. Because she always keeps her design back to the basics, Barry often makes complicated things simple, but not as simple as humanly possible, but with a precise sense and deep understanding of life.

    In addition to spatial design, Barbara Barry also specializes in product design.In 1996, Barry began a collaboration with Baker Furniture, a brand of Kohler Co. of the U.S.A. The design of each individual piece introduced balances utility and collectability, demonstrating Barry's precise grasp of the relationship between furniture, furnishings, and space, and thus the ability to easily find a place for them in the home. "Even the smallest details are capable of making the strongest impact; an elegant tray, vase or jewelry box, they form delightful combinations and add a personal touch that makes a room feel complete."
